Privacy Policy for Koaris

Protecting your privacy is our priority. At Koaris, we value your privacy and are committed to safeguarding your personal data.

This privacy policy describes the types of personal information we collect and how we use it.

If you have any questions or concerns about our privacy policy, feel free to contact us at privacy@koaris.com.

We may update this policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page along with the effective date of the revised policy.

This policy is effective as of September 30, 2026.

1. What information do we collect?

We may ask you to provide your name, email address, and phone number when you sign up for our newsletter or fill out a form. This data is used to send marketing communications via email and WhatsApp, such as news and special offers.

Our website uses Google Analytics to gain insights into visitors and monitor trends. This tool collects information such as your IP address, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), timestamps, pages visited, and number of clicks.

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies for ad measurement, such as Google Ads conversion tracking. You can opt out of this by visiting the Google ad network's privacy policy.

SEO & GEO Analyzer and abuse prevention

When you use the SEO & GEO Analyzer, the submitted URL, page HTML, robots.txt, and llms.txt are processed by a Koaris Worker to produce the report. Koaris does not intentionally store submitted URLs, fetched HTML, or reports. Cloudflare may retain limited invocation metadata for operations and security. To limit abuse, we use a one-way hash-derived client IP key and a key for the Cloudflare location; the raw IP is not used as the rate-limiter key.

OG Preview Checker

When you use the OG Preview Checker, the submitted public URL and fetched HTML are processed transiently by a Koaris Worker to extract metadata. We do not intentionally store URLs, HTML, or reports. The same hashed-IP and location abuse controls apply, and Cloudflare may retain limited operational metadata. Selected images are requested directly by your browser from image hosts without a Referer header. Those hosts receive your IP address and may receive existing cookies according to browser rules, processing that data under their own policies. Images do not pass through a Koaris proxy.

Koaris Tools plugin for ChatGPT and MCP clients

When you use the Koaris Tools plugin, text, parameters and URLs sent by the client are processed transiently on Koaris's servers to run the requested utility. This processing is not confined to your browser. We do not intentionally store inputs or results; Cloudflare may retain limited operational metadata. Abuse controls use a hashed connection IP and the Cloudflare location. Page checks use the protections described above and do not load images. Conversation history, inputs and results may remain in ChatGPT or another client according to that service's settings and policies. The website's text tools remain available for local processing in your browser.

Screen Streamer

When you use the Screen Streamer, your screen, audio, and microphone are sent directly from your browser to your viewers' browsers over encrypted WebRTC (DTLS-SRTP). Koaris does not receive, record, or store streams. Recordings and snapshots are created in your browser and saved only to your device.

To connect browsers, the tool uses third-party infrastructure operated by PeerJS and Google: the PeerJS cloud signaling server (0.peerjs.com) receives the room code, randomly generated connection identifiers, and your IP address; Google's STUN server receives your IP address to discover a network route. These providers process data under their own privacy policies.

As with any WebRTC connection, the host and viewers can see each other's IP addresses. Anyone with the room link can join unless the host turns on viewer approval, so share links only with people you trust.

2. How do we use your information?

The information we collect is used in the following ways:

  • To improve our website: We analyze Google Analytics data to enhance the user experience and provide relevant content.
  • To respond to inquiries: If you contact us, we may use your email to respond.
  • To send marketing communications: We use your name, email, and phone number to keep you informed about news, special offers, and relevant updates.
  • To operate and protect the SEO & GEO Analyzer and OG Preview Checker: We temporarily process requested pages and enforce request limits using a hashed IP key and Cloudflare location. If these protections are unavailable, the request is temporarily refused rather than processed without them.
  • To operate the Screen Streamer: Room codes, connection identifiers, and IP addresses are exchanged through PeerJS and Google servers only to connect browsers; the stream itself does not pass through Koaris.

3. How do we protect your information?

We implement security measures to ensure that your personal information remains safe whenever you enter, submit, or access it on our website.

Our website is protected with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, ensuring that all shared data is encrypted.

4. Do we use cookies?

Optional analytics and advertising cookies are only enabled after you accept them. You can reject them and continue using the tools. Use Cookie preferences at the bottom of the page to change your choice; revoking permission reloads the page to stop optional scripts.
