Questions

How do I generate a mailto link?
Type the recipient's email address, add a subject and body if you like, then copy the generated mailto: URL or the HTML snippet. Everything is URL-encoded for you, so spaces and line breaks survive.
Does the email send by itself?
No. A mailto link opens the person's email client with the fields pre-filled — they review and send it themselves.
Which parameters are supported?
subject, body, cc and bcc. Everything is URL-encoded for you so line breaks and punctuation survive.
Why doesn't it open anything on my machine?
The browser needs a default mail client registered for mailto: links. On a fresh machine that may not be set up yet.
