How to use

  1. Type or paste the participants in the box, one name per line.
  2. Choose how many winners the draw should pick.
  3. Optionally enable the countdown animation for suspense.
  4. Press Draw — winners appear in a celebration modal with confetti, and you can copy or redraw them.
  5. Each result carries a unique Sorteio ID, shown in the modal and included when you copy the winners.

Each line is one entry: blank lines are skipped and repeated names only count once, so pasting a copied list straight from a spreadsheet column or a chat works as-is.

Questions

How are winners chosen?
The tool shuffles the whole list with an unbiased Fisher–Yates shuffle and takes the first names. The shuffle uses cryptographically strong randomness, so every participant has the same chance each draw.
How many winners can I pick?
From one winner up to the number of participants you entered. The Winners menu only offers counts your list can actually fill, so a draw never repeats anyone.
What does the countdown do?
When enabled, a full-screen three-two-one animation plays before the winners modal appears. Turn it off to go straight to the result.
Are names sent to a server?
No. The draw runs entirely in your browser and the list never leaves your device.
What is the Sorteio ID?
Every draw gets a unique, unguessable code in the form SORT-XXXXXXXX. It appears under the winners in the result box and is copied along with them, so you can quote or verify that exact draw later.
Can I copy the winners?
Yes. A Copy button in the result modal puts the winners on your clipboard, one per line, ready to paste.
