Questions

Is my résumé stored?
No. Your file is read in your browser and only the extracted text is sent to Koaris. It is processed in memory to produce the score and is not stored or logged.
How is the score calculated?
Deterministic checks (readable text, layout, length, contact details, sections, dates) are done in code. A decision model answers a few judgement questions such as measurable results and summary quality. The score is then computed in code with fixed weights.
Will the same résumé always get the same score?
Almost always. Thresholds sit between answer levels so tiny variations in the model do not change a clear result, but a résumé right on a threshold can occasionally move one criterion.
Why did my résumé fail to extract text?
Scanned or image-only files have no text layer, so an ATS sees a blank page. Export a text PDF from your editor or upload the DOCX.
Do I need to paste a job description?
No. Without one, the keyword and job-match criteria are skipped and the score is computed from the remaining criteria.
Does a high score guarantee an interview?
No. It measures how well software can read and evaluate your résumé, not whether you are the right candidate.
