How to use

  1. Enter a public page URL including https:// and select Check preview.
  2. Compare the four approximate sharing cards and review the selected metadata sources.
  3. Read diagnostics and browser image observations, then expand the ordered metadata table.
  4. Select Copy report to share the findings, or Clear to reset the checker.

Questions

Are these exact platform previews?
No. These are approximate layouts based on fetched HTML. Platforms may crop, truncate, cache, or select different content. The checker does not refresh platform caches or guarantee crawler access.
Does the checker execute page JavaScript?
No. It checks the returned HTML only. Metadata injected by JavaScript after loading will not be detected. Public HTTP(S) pages are supported; private hosts and URLs containing credentials are rejected.
Which metadata takes precedence?
The first declaration of each field is preferred. OG previews use Open Graph fields, then document title and meta description fallbacks. X prefers Twitter fields, then Open Graph and document fallbacks. Repeated images remain valid and visible.
How are URLs and images processed?
A Koaris Worker transiently fetches and parses the submitted URL’s HTML without intentionally storing URLs, HTML, or reports. Selected images load directly from their hosts in your browser with no referrer; those hosts receive your IP address and may receive existing cookies. Browser observations do not verify platform crawler access.
